With over 10 years of civil engineering experience, I know the process of plan creation. I also know how many hands it passes through and the many reviewers that manipulate the code to their liking. Plans start one way and are completely different at the end while so many expensive mistakes get overlooked. The engineer is up against the clock with a limited budget and timeline with five other projects they are distracted by. A civil engineer’s job is to get site development permits as quickly as possible and value engineering always takes a back seat.

I have worked for a developer for the second part of my career and ran budgets from beginning to end. I have bid the projects out and reviewed the civil plans as markets collapsed to squeeze every last penny out of construction while maintaining integrity and value in construction plans. On every project, there are hundreds of thousands, if not, millions of dollars of savings waiting to be discovered on civil plans.

Allow us to review your plans, free of charge, to determine how much money you can save. Our team will then meet with your development and civil team to run through the changes. If the design engineer approves of these changes, they will process a correction with the City. After the changes get approved and the savings are confirmed, we get a percentage of the savings.
